Criminal law science is a basic science that needs attention in the study of legal science, for anyone who wants to study legal science and become a prospective legal expert. Criminal law is a study that is of concern in the development of legal science and in the formation of legal policy. The study of criminal law knowledge carried out throughout legal education, both within the country and abroad, requires the Criminal Law Section of the ULM Faculty of Law to continue to improve in order to summarize all criminal law studies carried out, in order to provide provisions for prospective criminal law experts. in the future coming from the ULM Faculty of Law.

The Criminal Law Section of the ULM Faculty of Law in providing training to its students so that they can complete the study of criminal law knowledge, of course equips its students with material criminal law knowledge, formal criminal law knowledge and various other fields which contain the study of criminal law science, and of course just adapting to ULM’s superior specialty in wetlands, so that the Criminal Section of the ULM Faculty of Law adapts by providing strengthening studies related to criminal law relating to natural resources and the environment, in order to adapt to ULM’s specificities. The Criminal Law Section of the ULM Faculty of Law also realizes that developments in other fields outside of matters relating to natural resources and the environment also need to receive attention, such as various criminal law studies related to the economic sector, criminal law studies related to technological developments and so on. , and of course by not forgetting the aspect of comparative criminal law, as a provision for prospective criminal law experts from the ULM Faculty of Law in the future, in order to provide the widest opportunity for them to take part at regional, national and international levels.
